Konrad Noebel, LMT, Owner
Konrad is a licensed massage therapist in the State of Delaware and nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork. A graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage and professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, he has been in practice as a bodyworker since 1998 and opened Bodymind in 2002. Konrad has completed advanced certification in Orthopedic Massage and Zero Balancing® and received additional training in oncology massage at Memorial Sloane-Kettering Cancer Center in New York in 2009. He is a professional member of the Society for Oncology Massage. Konrad obtained his Masters Degree in Creative Arts in Therapy from HahnemannUniversity in Philadelphia and the Laban Centre in London in 1990 and is a certified movement analyst and certified mat Pilates instructor. He is currently enrolled in the certification program in mind-body medicine at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington D.C. Konrad has been a member of the Allied Health staff at BeebeMedicalCenter since 2003.
Konrad's movement and bodywork is informed by his background in psychology and his previous work as a dance/movement therapist. He integrates his clinical expertise in treating muscular pain and injury with a holistic approach to health and wellness. His work supports the intrinsic connection between the mind and the body and he believes that any healing work needs to encompass all areas of our being for optimal lasting health and to restore balance in our bodies and our lives, giving the whole person the opportunity to heal and thrive.
