"Bodymind" is based on the philosophy of the intrinsic relationship between the body and the mind, and that health and wellness are based on the whole person being in balance. The combination of massage, movement and energy modalities offered at Bodymind help relax the body and mind, alleviate pain and stress, prevent injury and help you to achieve a greater sense of balance and contentment with life.
Modalities on offer at Bodymind include a number of massage therapy approaches (orthopedic massage, deep tissue massage, Myofascial Release and Swedish massage), Zero Balancing® and Reiki. I now also offer oncology massage for individuals who have been diagnosed with and receiving treatment for cancer.
In addition, movement work utilizing the principles of Pilates addresses postural imbalances by re-educating the body to move with greater integration, ease and freedom of movement.
